Landowner Services

The Wolf's Head Hunting Club will provide the following to Landowners:

Lease Agreement  Professionally prepared by the Law firm of Cerulli & Massare (134 S. Fitzhugh St., Rochester, NY 14608), the lease agreement is simple and straightforward.  The lease specifically absolves the landowner from all personal liability associated with the agreement.  Furthermore, terms of the agreement can be negotiated with each individual landowner to provide for his/her wishes as well as the needs of Wolf's Head Hunting Club.

Liability Insurance Even though the lease agreement absolves the landowner from liability Wolf's Head Hunting Club is covered by a $1,000,000 general liability policy that indemnifies the landowner.  Each landowner is actually named on the policy as an additional insured.

Security   Wolf's Head Hunting Club will post the leased property with our own signs.  Only paid members will be allowed on your property.  Each landowner will be provided with the names of those members who will be on their property.  Wolf's Head Hunting Club will handle all Trespassing prosecutions.


Screening  All members will have to apply for membership to the Wolf's Head Hunting Club.  Applications will be carefully screened to insure that members are the type of people that you would want to have on your land. 

Deer Management  We will fill out all of the necesary paperwork required by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation Department tp apply for Deer Management Assistance Permits (DMAP's).  These permits allow the harvesting of more Does.  By controlling the number of breedable Does on your property it is possible to control the deer population and limit crop damage.
          Wolf's Head Hunting Club also promotes the practice of Quality Deer Management and the use of the Venison Donation Coalition.


Service   As the landowner, you will deal directly with the owners of Wolf's Head Hunting Club.  Problems, if any can be addressed to Mike DeHond  for prompt attention.  We value the ability to develop and continue a good relationship with you, and will work toward that end

Wolf's Head Hunting Club rules of membership will be strictly enforced.
